Come experience the world of truffles even outside of the harvest season…
Our truffle farm harvests both summer and winter truffles and as a result we are harvesting for 10 months of the year from December to September. October and November are our only off-season months.
During October and November, our truffles are busy growing and not yet ready for harvest, which means we can’t offer fresh truffle hunting tours during these months. However, we do offer a unique out-of-season tour experience for you to enjoy. This experience allows you to learn about the truffle cultivation process, watch the dogs demonstrate their skills hunting for truffles using decoys, and indulge in a gourmet three-cheese truffle toastie and our moreish truffle ice cream.
Out of Season Truffle Farm Tour
Join us for an exciting experience where we'll demonstrate how our dogs hunt for truffles along the plantation using decoys. Afterwards, enjoy a gourmet three-cheese truffle toastie and a glass of Tasmania wine or beer amongst our truffle trees. Our moreish truffle ice cream will be your dessert for the day!
This experience also includes a tasting of our truffle products. To help manage your expectations, please note there will be no hunting or eating fresh truffles during this out-of-season tour. Our truffle farm harvests both summer and winter truffles and as a result we are harvesting for 10 months of the year from December to September. October and November are our only off-season months.
*Please note we use fresh frozen truffles for this tour experience.
